What does moringa tea taste like?
Light, grassy and earthy, similar to a mellow green tea without the bitterness. Many people add lemon, mint, ginger or a little honey.
Does moringa tea have caffeine?
No. Moringa is naturally caffeine-free, so you can enjoy it any time of day.
How do I brew it?
Add 1 tsp (about 2 g) of leaves to 8 oz of hot water, just off the boil. Steep 5 minutes, then strain. You can also brew it iced: steep as usual, cool, and pour over ice.
How much can I drink?
Most people enjoy 1 to 2 cups a day. Start with one cup to see how you feel.
How many cups are in a bag?
Each 50 g bag makes about 25 cups at 1 tsp per cup.
How should I store it?
Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. For the best flavor, use within 12 months of opening.
Is moringa tea safe for everyone?
Moringa leaf is generally well tolerated as a tea. If you are pregnant or nursing, or take medication for blood pressure, blood sugar or thyroid, check with your doctor before adding it to your routine.
